lol, you cant solder a new one on if there ain't no pads left !

There pretty barsteward things to fit without having to contend with no copper to solder to.

Exactly, yea no disrespect to people who tried doin this job, but as a said on another post I had 3 boxes sent and all 3 had the solder pads removed and as you say if no pads then yer can't solder the new 100r to the board, so if attempting this then snip the 447 in middle and this will short it, then fit the new 100r and then yer got a kv 750 with no more slow response.
BE CAREFUL doin this finicky job BUT if yer do it right then yer solved the prob.

Wot yer gotta do with this slow response with rc is this.
Carefully snip this smd 447 in the middle and it will snap the contacts making this 447 to short Thus leaving the solder pads in tact.
All yer gotta do now is solder the legs of the 100r resistor to the 2 pads and all will deffo work if yer carefull at doing this, I will stress that if yer damage or remove the pads doing this then there's no way to rectify this once yer damage the pads.
So be careful cos as I stated and has you know this smd is so minute, best bet is use a very very fine tip soldering iron to do this job.

Actually, thinking about it, you dont even need to take the present 10k off the board. Just solder the new one on top of the original to put it in parallel. 10k in parallel with 100R dont make much difference to the 100R !

This crossed my mind to be honest Coder, but wasn't really sure, so yea easier job still if can do this method, just solder a 100r resistot to the pads of the 447.

hi all

it might b lot easier to just bridge an 128ohm resistor across the 447 this works about the value required.

there is no prefered value in the resistor of 128ohm which is cheap but resistors have various tolerance i.e 10%,5%,2%
