Hi All
Has Anyone come across a low profile DVB-C PCI Card, I have recently built a new HTPC n a SLimline CASE which only accepts low profile pci cards. Please let me know if one exists ? Thanks in Advance.

Think you may have problems getting anything smaller than a Twinhan or Technotrend board. The board size is pretty much dictated by the size of the tuner can which on all pci boards i've seen is pretty large.
If you cant accomodate a standard PCI card then your best bet may be an external USB (or firewire) type device. I seem to remember a thread a while back where somebody had aquired some standard USB dongle sized DVB-C devices directly from China. There's plenty of dvb-t devices available in this format now so I imagine there has to be dvb-c & dvb-s format ones available somewhere. |
