iam having a problem with my dreambox 500s was conected to my router and d/box and lap top everything was ok but today cannot conect to my dreambox can eny one help thank you

There could be any number of reasons for this, first check the following.

Is the box connecting to the internet, i.e can you see your peers and can they see you.

Have you disabled DCHP on the Dreambox ?

Are the cables OK ?

Have you inadvertantly changed any passwords, flashed a new image or done a factory reset ?

It would also help if you told us what software you are trying to use to connect to your dreambox, or if you are just trying to use the web interface.

thanks for getting back to me i left the box of all night tryed it today and is working again dont know if it was over heating iam on gemini 4.40 thank you for you help

yeah i had this problem as well, i changed the ip address of the dreambox then searched for it using dcc and it seemed to fix it, might help you if you have the problem again
