Hi

What is the first domain name you ever registered? And why did you register it? I had my first website set up at geocities way back in 2000. When it bean to get a lot of traffic i decided to get it is own identity and its own host, so i regged doonibhai.com it was a fun name for me and i used the website for free stuff, such as free resources etc...WHat is you first name?

I made my first website at geocities .. was too ugly because i hardly knew basic html at that time! When i got some content i shifted to a good forum based hosting and last year in october 2005 finally settled for a new domain! Though I am still hosting it at a free server and will shift it to a paid server soon.

Ah..my first domain..

It was MaxXbox.com

I was gonna make it into a Xbox site but that never really worked out.

I firstly worked on some unsuccessful sites on .tk (but they have not been a good service now) I used a free host at HostDepartment.com .. They are now also not very good for me ..

I tried to have a free media so I had a .co.nr free domain but the site did not succeed anyway !!

usually a web site hosted for free is not reliable because the hosting company is not earning at all, just giving it away for free.

I came to the net because I was trying to become a science fiction/fantasy writer - I figured if I built a website and got an online audience, I'd be able to get more attention from publishers.

5 years later and I'm still rewriting.

Damn - just found it's offline, too - much have forgotten to update the nameservers when I recently moved it.

Anyway, here's something of how it looked in 2001:

My first domain name (and still is) gazotto.com

I fiddled around with syllables till I got it. As you know domain names are so hard to get so I went the brandable route.

Gazotto.com is basically a gadget blog.
