Lol so you just dump it and flash it. No need for a vid tbh, already obvious how to do this. Mounting the filesystem in linux and modding the scripts i'd be impressed by, but again, tis already being done..

Doubt you're bored, you just bought a knife to a gunfight.

You'll be using a 2/10/20M MAC in it, essentially reducing an expensive Docsis3 modem down to Docsis 1.0/1.1 functionality

You've just hex edited a dump or the NV, which any untrained monkey can do.

as for the mac does this look like a 2/10/20 mac to you ( 00.50.f1

that is a 50 meg mac address

No, you dumped and flashed. Easy. You accomplished less than i thought.

Would be an ok method if it didn't require getting physical access to a sub to dump flash.

When VM see you're authing with legit certs with no public mod to gen them, VM might have something to say to the sub holder. At the very least they'll cut it off when they see this happening in any decent numbers, so good luck with posting that vid.

Why no BOD? is not hard to make (possible with winHex and some understanding), my 'blockered' BOD's been on since 2005.

Big talk, little progress. Same as fun fix, if you're so ****hot, why ain't you posted one? Anyone that can actually do it is keeping quiet, that's why....which is probs why my BOD image is still on. You can't do it. Admit it, stop ranting, and move on.

Next you will be telling us you have hacked N3 its quite apparant from reading your posts that your a muppet that doesn't have a clue especially if you truely believe you have 5 modems with the same mac on the same ubr all working, if you had even a simple understanding of networking you would know this can't work, the mac address does more than get you a config file!

Any one with half a brain cell can defeat any blocker on a Rom11. Its not exactly difficult to do but go ahead and post away. Its no skin off my nose and I'd enjoy a good laugh at yet another idiot reposting info and standard tools that have been around for the last five+ years !
