The Kryptview is the ultimate box if you want support mate. Excellent quality and good value for money. If you want to go down the HD route, go for the Kryptview DW800.

Agree with Blakey 8 that the Kryptview's Ive got for the family have been great, (Ive had a DBox for a fair few years but theyre hard to come by now I think?).

Got to say though that I think I'd be hanging on for a little bit just at the moment till we now more about how this talk of an N3 implementation pans out (was going to get myself the HD Kryptview till all the talk started).

N3 ( Nagra 3 ) is a encryption method that COULD be coming soon that would render a boxes useless for getting subscription channels for free. There may or may-not be a fix for this encryption only time will tell.

During this downtime you would have a free-view box only.

totally different situation last year. that was crackable. but if and when nag3 comes in, dont hold your breath for a fix. sfaik, eire is still down in most parts. but if you buy a reliable box cheaply, you should get your monies worth. btw, what is wrong with your present box???
