i did everything you said to get it out of hdmi mode,

like i said above i still cant get into the em memu! ive press the up and down bottoms and then press the restart bottem, waited to unit it says boot, then it boots to the em memu but i cant see anything on the tv and yes the tv is on ext 1

when the box is booted up and working, i dont get any guide memu or v+ memus either, this makes me think the box is not working right,

i just dont understand whats going on with this box,

Did the box show SD on the front? Try a different scart lead to narrow the problem down a bit. It is possible that the scart socket on the box is faulty but this is unlikely. Maybe you could try a different EXT channel?

Yup, according to the seller he dispatched it on the 30th! so will see what happens after 10 days lol
