V+box hd

hi everyone again

Ive just got a V+box hd one, done the normal got the bk/ird from the card, started my box up waited 5mins before i did anything!!!! as im in a pure area i dont have to the netid yay lol just finding the box very slow?? and also dont have the pin box for the movies? is it like the samsung 2100c short the battery out to set the pin? i know i will loose the netid but goes not matter! just what to know what people thought of the box?
why it sooooo slow!!!!!!!!!!!

Those boxes are slow mate, I have one myself. As for the pin, ask the previous owner if they know it or you will need to lift the 512 chip and blank it. The Net ID will set itself as you are in Pure and then you just need to set the pin in the EM. If only it was a simple as shorting a battery, all us V+ owners would be happy lol.

thanks for getting back to me, i just dont understand why the pin box dont come up? i cannot get into the em, i jusy have a black tv when trying to get into it, any idea?

if they have not put a pin in it will be 1234 on the remote

Check the EM (hold up and down and press reset, keep hold until you see "boot" on the front and then let go) and if the pin shows ---- or 0000 then alter them until you get your desired pin. If it shows **** then you will need to reset the pin by lifting the chip as I said above.

right ive just tryed to get into the em memu, i held the up and down bottoms and pressed the restart untill the boot come up, the box looks like its in the em but all i get in a black screen, before anyone says the tv is on ext 1, but it makes me think the box is on hdi settings and thats why i cant see the em memu, it reminds me of a pace 4001 box when trying to get into the em memu and having to press the ext 1 on the tv again to get it,

Did you cut TB or are you using filter? if you did cut TB that would make the box slower than usual at the same time will start rebooting it self quite often.

I have'nt cut the talkback yet!! ive done some reading about these boxes and ive read the same as you said above, i just cant understand why i cant get in the em memu! i most be doing something wrong, ive done loads of boxes in my time and got into the em norpobs just this box i cant!!

i pressed the up and down and then pressed the restart bottom and waited up untill it says boot, yep done that

when it say diag i think says which me thinks is the em memu

but cant see anything on the tv, if i could i would set the pin!

but dont understand what im doing wrong!!!

me thinks it has hdmi setting on and thats why i cant see it but not sure

Taking V+ out of HDMI
If you need to take the box out of hdmi mode this is what you do;
1) Remove power.
2) Hold play/pause and stop buttons together.
3) Power the box while still holding these buttons.
4) When you see the message output
5) Press fwd button till use see SD
6) Press ok and wait till the box reboot and you should be able to view by scart mode.
