Default Water cooling!!!

Hi, we have of late had a few issues with the cooling down of the main hard drive unit, fitted twin 80mm fans as well as the 80mm standard fan. I have seen on auction here in NZ on a site called TradeMe.co.nz a water cooling system, has anybody seen this type of cooling and is it better than the conventional type fans....

it depends, does it really help though? I mean I'm fine with the conventional fans, they work fine. I don't know how much of a difference the water cooling will make?

I once saw a computer that used a fishtank as the water cooling reservior, the computer served as an auxiliary fishtank heater as well. I have a friend who made a nice water cooling setup for his CPU by using a cable tv junction box as a heatsync. He sealed it all up and attatched the water hoses to either end then made a mount for it on the CPU, then had an aquarium pump to a water reservior. I suppose if you had some way to chill the water, like a reservior in a refrigerator or something it would work quite well. The only problem I could see happening is condensation forming on components.

Condensation would be a serious concern, it might be a good idea. But you better make sure you are in right weather conditions, ect, ect.. to make sure you just won't be putting your computer down.
