try it, but doubt if it will help your problem. i scan with either t/pest or xc/w, get a few different channels but all main ones are the same...

i'll keep this as short as poss but a m8 had similar prob recently,Sv not picking up SP 1 and a few others, swapped his box for my Euro, picked up what the SV couldn't(SP 1 etc)but was missing other channelstook the SV to my house and worked perfect so that ruled out a prob with the SV.tried everything, direct feed, swapping with broadband connection etc,etc and after much swapping got SV working as it should but then lost his BB.Last thing i tried was to change the 2 way splitter and bingo all works as it should.not sure why and not sure it'll solve your prob but for a couple of quid it might be worth trying a new one.Told you i'd keep it short

Well it definitely worked for me, i tried all the providers seperately and not one of them would supply all the channels. And it was SS2 that was the main one missing. That was in Dukinfield nr Manchester that was ex C&W

Ok here's an update, Tried using a different provider than the one i'm used to without joy, same channels missing. I have already changed the splitter and tuned the box directly off the incoming cable many times before I asked this forum for support but that didn't make any difference either. As I mentioned earlier in the thread my EV picks up all the missing channels on the same cable as the SV2 and I have the same problems if I put the SV2 on the EV cable. I will try the SV on my m8's cable to see if that works (hes got a EV). Aside from not being able to try another SV2 on my cable I think all ideas will have been exhausted. I'll keep you all informed and thx for all your advice.

Unfortunately after trying this SV on my m8's cable there wasn't any difference in what channels I received. I'm gonna put it down to a faulty decoder/tuner unless there are more suggestions.

I'm getting the same. My remote started playing up, bought a new one and both remotes now won't work half the time. I've lost a few channels over the past few months so did a re-scan. V4.57 on a GT rom V1.03. and getting no SS* at all, half the M channels and about 30 BeebC1 and HITV1's.

Any suggestions please?

try a factory reset then then do a direct scan ie remove the cable from splitter to modem and connect the tv feed to the box on the wall
