Not having any luck at all with putty anyone out there no where i can get hyperterminal for free PLEASE!for vista

What problems you having with putty, much better get some help with that and suss it mate as its far more superior then hyperterminal, M$ never owned the software hence zero dev

every tutorial I find for the ambit 250 seems to include hyperterminal but obviously I cant get it!just cant find one for putty I enter all the same settings as they say to enter into hyperterminal and it just pings at me!could you also explain in baby talk what program does what think I have a sort of idea!tftp does what?is it a server for talking to the modem?then what does putty do!lol bless me!

u will find hyperterminal on the tcb toolbar, under files and fixes, modem files, non specific modem files. putty works fine on vista and windows 7

i couldnt get it to work on xp putty and pumpkin i am a dodo tho thanx for that
