you need to put 411.000 in ///131/000 is wrong its a factory default freq////the reason for your probs is because return path is on

done a few things. I have gone into eng menu without feed and everything is the way it should be. If i boot the box with no feed in i get tune on the display. But if i boot box normaly it comes on and i get the led flashing and in settings and option 6 technical stuff it says that return path is off. Then after 10 mins the box goes back into rebooting. i also checked the event log in eng menu and it shows nothing apart from 2day and pre 1999

Just went into technical stuff again and its saying in event log (21) reboot - unkown and times match to when box is rebooting
also every so often on a line i get a code (8104)

My spare box is SA 4000 and Net id is 40985 freq 131.000 works fine I’ve tested it just to confirm m8 so it is not wrong, I’m using filter with my box which doe not reboot at all.
I know the 131.000 is a national freq but with these boxes it work just fine, infect even if you change it to other freq it will change it self to 131.000,
I think to get that box sorted you might have to start from scratch m8.

these boxes don't have no jumper m8, to reset you will need to blank the U48 chip then either flash it with new dump or use fun/atmega cards to set the net id and freq again m8, I've used funcard on mine and was able to set the net id and pin, you can have few goes and see if it works for you if not then you will have to lift the U48 chip and blank it first m8.
I think if you sort that out and get the box to update it will sort out that rebooting problem.
Ps: SA box do have rebooting problem when TB is cut specially with SA8300 I use filter on mine.
