Pace 4000

The box worked fine for a while, then one day its kept restarting, it dont even get to the tv screen, well it has twice then restarts in a second. i can get into eng menu tho. I live in telepest area. any ideas what i could do with this

net id/ symbol rate/ frequency spring to mind on that one mate, possilbly a duff battery [think they have one]

Freq is fine, and the net id is same as its always has been. symbol rate????

symbol rate underneath your freq, if this has changed don,t think it will set, not familiar with this box sorry, it,s not one for my area [pure] just going on previous experience with box,s for my area

you can't sure if the freq/ net id are right if you have no access to the EM m8, they might have reset.

got it wrong its a SA 4000. I got it wrong

I have an atmega card, but dont know how to make it reset the box. I have the bk and ird which i have read from the card.

What steps do i do next?

i got into eng menu and got this

FREQ 131.000
attenvation n/a
re modulation chan 21
symbol rate 6.952

Also net id is set to 40973

which match up 2 my 2110c box

what happend was it got it 2 come online for about 10mins then it went off and kept restarting not getting past AP53

i suppose this is where you are in Dudley TW 40973 131.000, if it is the setting seem to be alright, then the problem would be with signal coming through, take off any spliters you may have and connect the box dirrect to the cable coming in from the outside box and if the same thing happens.

Yeah mate, i have no splitters or anything else on the line. I have tried this box in 3 diff places and still the same. if i leave it off line it works for 10mins and then starts restarting.
