Default Help with signal strength and satelite receiver

Hello All,

I have recently purchased a Goodmans HD Freesat receiver GFSAT200HD.
The first time I connected it, I got 90% signal strength. It was fine for 2 days and then I lost the signal completely. it came on again after one day. but then I lost it again. well now it has been a week since i received any kind of signal. the dish is excelent and has not changed direction. the cable is not the problem. the receiver is brand new. is there anything i am missing or is there anything i should know? i am in stavanger, norway and the person who lived here before me had none of these problems with the same dish.

thanks for your help

Don't know about anyone else but I think the Goodmans HD receiver is a piece of junk. I'm on my 2nd one now and still having the same problems. Sound goes then no signal even though signal strength is fine.
