Default audio problems /starview the box

Having some audio problems with narrator settings on film channels

On the audio toogle, there seems to be mix of audio options, Half the films have the normal audio options ie, NAR / Eng and selecting audio off works fine.

But half the films also show audio options NAR and language 2. Toggling between these two doesn't take off the narrator off. The language 2 audio setting is something new which i haven't seen before a recent rescan.

i have tried rescan several times but still get the above mix of audio options.Should i take spliter off for a stronger signal rescan or update firmware? Any other solutions?

thanks

1st what starview is it?

3rd do a factory reset then scan all your channels again..

4th cross your fingers

starview 3

re-scanned and disconnected the splitter for better signal.

This seems to have worked but still have a odd mix of audio options ie, eng/eng, nar/eng and eng only. The langauge 2 option which was causing problems has gone.

Still, i may reflash in case the files have been corrupted

would not have thought a reflash would be of any use, but not sure. i've never done one in 12 months.

I dont think it is what they're saying. I think you'll only get the narrator when the channel has got "audio description" after it.have I explained it ok?
