Hey guys, What im trying to attempt is have mutliple telephone sockets off the main in put in the house. I have one line which is on BT. what i would like to be able to have is a telephone in each room, all on the same number and same line. How wuld i do this i want to have proper telephone sockets in each room.

hi
all you need is 3 pair telephone cable from the master point looping to each room you want the extra points, just make sure you use a propper bt tool as you can get a bad connection if you try and use a screwdriver or simular. the connections are as follows blue - 2, orange - 3 and blue/white - 5 hope this helps if you need any more info i can assist you further regards |

If you have ADSL, you don't need any wire on 3 as the ADSL filter does the work of the bell wire. It'll cut out noise on the line, too, well it did with mine.

Thanks for the help guys, its working a treat now. I put 4 points on and it worked fine, but for what ever reason the 5th one seemed to have interferance on the line, tryed diff cable and point but the same.
