ps2 disk swap

i read somewhere about disk swapping on a ps2. apparently this also works on an xbox.

anyway i took my ps2 apart cos it was sitting there doing nothing and the few games i had were scratched didnt play. they would only boot up.
i covered up the censors
im now able to run the dvd game with the drawer still open.

when you see the playstation logo your ment to be able to quickly change the disk.

when i do i get no data on dvd.
i burnt the iso games on a vabtim -R.
any idea what is up

Disk swapping is what is meant! You have to swap Disks!

You need the disk swapping disk first to boot the machine then 'swap' over to burnt game

I don't think XBox had any software released to be able to "swap" discs. You need Swap Magic or the Memory Card Exploit for the PS2 but you could boot burned PSX games (without any modifications but only on the phat version) by swapping certain discs when you were in the Browser (Memory Card & CD/DVD menu). To be able to boot backup games on the XBox, you need to softmod it/fit a modchip (XBox Original) or flash the DVD drive (XBox 360).

if i remember right you need to start with a higher toc game first if i remember gta was a good one let it load not sure which screen but you have to quickly swap the dics then should boot up
