Default pay per view, for free?

hey guys, i just read a thread on a site about the recent david haye fight, it was giving the channels to watch it, 2 of them needed keys and one of them was free to air, i had to go to the bar to watch it that night and since then have got my dish up.
my question, would i have been able to watch it for free on my 80cm motorized system, and the same for some premiership games if i can hit 1w

thanks guys

The Haye Vs Valuev fight was on a German FTA channel, on 19E, without any advertising breaks, no subscription required

Was that DSF?
I get lots of football and similar progs from that but I didn't see the boxing.

No it was on ARD, also listed as Das Erste, or something similar, it was listed at the time, other sporting events are shown mainly on DSF, but also sometimes on Sat 1 and ZDF.

If you are wanting to watch the Amir Khan vs. Dmitriy Salita,on Saturday 5th December, then its not available on any free to air channel.
Thats not to say a free to air feed might appear on the actual day.
Keep an eye on Satelliweb for live feeds.
You can catch the Marco Huck v Ola Afolabi fight,on Das Erste,on Saturday 5th December at 9.00PM(GMT)
