Default Connection Viewing Promblem

Heya needed some advice from you brain boxes i have a 50 inch Panasonic plasma t.v which is connected to my wall.

Recently when connecting a dvd player threw a scart the picture is playing but its all green like but when i connect the same dvd player upstairs on a normal tv it works fine what could be the problem here as its not the dvd player which i first thought was messed.

Thanks....

Could be the scart connection? Happened at my friend's house when we tried to watch a film. Connected a PS2 to the TV to watch a film and it had a slightly green tinge to the screen. Fidled with the connection and tried different wries and then it worked. I'm sure you might have tried this already....but just in case

It might be a PAL/NTSC issue on the DVD player?
