I have been offered a normal sammy box that I am after for another room but it is outside of Wales and wondered if it would still work.

The Samsung 2110c will work anywhere and the 2100c works anywhere apart from TW.

Cheers for that is it just the V+ boxes then that seem to be coded to certain areas like I know our's is 0004

Yes, but you can change that Network ID by lifting and re-programming the chip. 00004 is a Pure Network ID meaning you don't need to do anything in order to change the Net ID on box (unless the V+ is from a different area).
