Default ESPN, Topup TV card?

hi, my receiver has a card slot, i am picking up 28e,19e,13e at the minute, if i buy a top up tv card for a freeview box which states in the advert that there is free subscription to ESPN, does this mean that i can put this unactivated, new card in my receiver and pick up the premium ESPN channel to play the Rangers game on saturday?
thanks

Dont waste your money - they use different encryptions. DTT uses Seca, satellite uses NDS Videoguard
