Hey All,
just got my new EX6000 pluged it all in got the user interface but when i go to the scan page should i be getting a strong signal n before i do a scan? Because im getting between 15%-21% on level and about 25% on quality? Is this correct? Thanks |

scan without splitter and you will find all the channels you need, mine said 20% before scanning but after said 90% on all channels after.

Yes that will be correct mate... when the tuner is " in between" channels it will show 15%, but as soon as you start scanning you will see it spike up as it gets to each channel.

Had my box a couple of weeks now and im pretty happy with it.
Still need to sort out the channels but couldnt work out how to do it with NDF edit but i will find out. Thnaks |

just move yer chanels way the remote its alot quicker when you figure it out.

Please can anyone help...Just got my new box and it does register channels. its got the same 15% to 25% reading but does not pick up anything. I have connected it to the main cable line without any splitter in the way and have also updated it with the second version of the software. I have scanned with the first two symbol rates and still nothing. Checked all wires and connections.
Is there anything i'm doing wrong cheers |

hey vicks,
Once you have uploaded the firmware to the box do a channel scan and it should find the channels. Check the firmware has uploaded. The box shows low singal before you do a scan. Thanks |
