Hi,
I am trying to set a net id for use in an cw area. It just never works. Have used NetIDv2.1.7.2 to create the inteep. I write the inteep, flash and exteep to a 4th gen funcard. I then rewrite inteep. I then reset box by shorting battery. Net id is then set to 09999. Anyway i put card in....it recognises card but net id doesnt update or box doesn;t reboot ? Can anyone help....I find setting netid with a funcard almost impossible ??? What am i doing wrong? bk and ird is 100% working as i use this box in my area which is pure with no problems. In my area net id updates automatically. Any suggestions would be great!!! Yours Truly M |

I take it you have the cable feed in when you insert the card? Also, make sure you erase the card 2 or 3 times to ensure a successful write.

Edit: is the box on 3.7 FW? If it is you'll have these sort of problems. sr20 Last edited by sr20; 01-12-09 at 09:18 PM. |

i agree with this post , when box reboots remove the power and then plug back in and go into eng. menu and it should have set,.if the cable feed is not in then it cant see the net id to tune to |

Ok. In that case what you're doing should work, but cable feed must be out.
@adrift he's not trying to get it to use the new netID, just set it for use elsewhere. The box isn't rebooting to start with. sr20 |

You can't set an Ex C&W Net ID in your area mate. The box should reboot itself once the Net ID has been set. You will have to send the card to your mate and have him do it.
