i got spi programmer everything is fine except i cant seem to id the chip, how can i gety past this? tries 5 different modems

keep lifting the clip on and off till all the lights light up on the modem then press id but rem not to power up the modem with the clip on as the clip powers it up

that is what i have been doing but it doesn't seem to work for me, the lights light up everything else seems to work according to plan ecept this F*****g id thingy

the clips can be a bit tricky somtimes just keeps playing with it and it will detect, the last one i did i had to apply a bit of downwards pressure inorder for it to have a connection

are all the lights coming on when u attach clip to the chip ? and make sure u put it on mx25l in the pull down bar

yes they are, and i have done all the settings b4 i started it, besides it was detecting some of those modems a week ago but not today.

sounds like u got a dodgy clip m8 they are realy flimsey thats why i buy 5 a time look at clip at bottom to see if its warin if it is u need a ne clip m8 if u need them done asap pm me

like i said try applying some pressure i had one like this last week it would light up but would not detect.

try to open the clip and line it up and then put some pressure on it on top of where the spring is with ur finger and release the clip and then hit detect.

otherwise might need a new clip

Guys i have a Ambit 256 flashed with Haxorware, it has been working for 3 months now and have had to cchange the MAC in the past once and it has been fine since then, anyways i have tried to get into the config page of 192.168.100.1 but it comes up page cant be disp... in ipconfig the laptop ip is 169.100. blah blah, the default gateway is blank its like the software has just disapeard any ideas??
