Default Freesat buying and installing

I have the opportunity to buy a freesat HD receiver.
Can I use my existing sat dish which is Monoblocked LNB and picks up 19.3 and 13 continental channels.
will this dish also pick up the BBC and ITV HD transmissions.? (I have a sneaking feeling that I would need to point to 28?)
In other words, which sat and tp transmits the BBC and ITV HD signals?
Do I need a separate dish?
Is it easy to set up? I setup my own existing dish.
thanks for any recommendations.
My existing sat rec is a FortecStar 5600i

What size is the dish?

Yes, you need 28E.

It is possible to add an LNB for 28E depending on dish size, ideally the dish should be focussed on 19E.

Would that be the case, ideally focussed on 19E, to add extra lnb's to a sky dish too? 19E being one I'd like to add.

No, you can't add 19E to a Sky dish.

If it is a zone 2 dish, it just may be possible to add 28E to it, if focussed on 19E though, not sure if there would be enough space for the two LNBs though, worth a try, but only on a zone 2.

It's a zone 2 I have, I think. So if dump that, get a bigger dish to add lnb's, with one of them still on 28E, would Sky reception be a problem?

I take it you are in NI or EIRE

Here, a 80 to 90cm dish , focussed on 19E, with an LNB either side for 19E and 13E gives a brilliant signal on all three satellites, the signal is as good as if not better than a minidish. In NI or EIRE, I presume it would work also but obviousy don't know. I know an installer in NI if you needed one.

Thanks for that. I'm south of the border, Dublin. Not that it makes much difference. I'd like to have a bash at it myself. My dad wants me to set a dish up for him so I'll see if I balls that one up first before wrecking my own .

Meant to say I have a Humax Foxsat HDR still in it's box here and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Now that could be of real interest to me.
I already have a Monoblock LNB on my dish (85cm) which is pointing to 19.3 primary and 13 secondary!
Can I re-position this monoblock to pick up 28 ?
I am prepared to lose out on 13.

LATER: I have a feeling that the "spread" of the Monoblock I have is maximum 6deg, so I think I have answered my own question but hopefully you can tell me otherwise!

If you are not going to feed all three into the same receiver, you can keep the monoblock for 13E+19E and add a single LNB for 28E.

If its all to be fed to one receiver, then you are best off ditching the monoblock for three separate LNBs, and using a multi-LNB bracket to hold the offsets. On an 85cm, it should work fine, and there is no reason too lose 13E.
