Default should we be selling off our cable boxes??

hi, iv not really checked in on the cable side of tv (been trying to set up my sat boxes) , i knew nagra 3 was coming but not for ages if at all ....

anyway today was the first day for a long time iv checked in on the cable side of things.... oh sh.....ugar

from what u can see leeds is already using nagra 3 and it will be rolled all over in a few months

so iv been searching the forums and from what i can see starviews etc will be as good as doorstops but boxes using linux could be saved if a hack comes out

so i have 2 starview and 2 dreambox clones and an itgate 220 so shoukd i be seling most of these boxes soon or will they be able to be changed over?

im not trying to scaremonger and would really like someone to tell me dont be daft this is a small glitch and it will be sorted soon...... or are we all screwed?

you have to face facts its over mate !!!!

we will all have black screens in time for Easter, you seem to be the only person on all the forums that disagrees with everybodys opinions,if you have a container full of boxes in a lock up somewhere maybe you should be looking at doing an insurance job

must do, it is over. On another note, who are you planning to sell the boxes too? Its over!

Just one question though, i take it they will only encrypt the premium channels? Boxes will be good for FTA still yeh?

Indeed, if thats all you require.

The spare room is getting my box once its done with, better than the freeview reception around my area!
