Exclamation Newbie in need of serious advice

Hi all

Not sure if i am being dense but i am in need of some help.
I have Star Super USB, was running on firmware v.09 but kept loosing channels so I upgraded to firmware v.12.
Upgraded fine, chose language, ran factory reset, ran N*L auto scan, set date and time all went smoothly.
When I try to exit out of all the menus it just sits there on the language selection page.
No matter what I do I can not get it to shift off the languages screen.
I have powered it off from the front, back and even left it off for some time.
When I power it back up again it goes through 8888, 8882, b-01 display and then back to languages screen.
I have downgraded the firmware to v.09 and also v.07 but no joy.
Any advice or help would be most appreciated.

Thanks
J
