Hi,
I got the Db 500S(linux- a clone) only yesterday ,I tried to set up the box.
I succeeded to obtain 20 FTA religious channels from Intelsat 10 @ 68.5* East. When I tried to get the FTA on the C band,I was not succesful. May be there should be modification for the LNB configuration on the blue panel.I do have only one antenna 20 cms diameter" Paraclipse.usa" and C band LNB.
AS you have succeeded, this is the reason I am approaching you in order to know what additional modifictaion/s I should bring to OSD Menu on the
Blue Panel in order to be succesful.On the web I could not find any reference about the lnb modification and how to do it.
I should be most grateful if you would study the possibility of guiding me.

Can you confirm your dish size - 20cm is a very small dish indeed!

Thanks for attending to my query.
MY offset dish is of that size width 150 cms and 165 cms height,with an invacom LNB,o.3dB

My BUD is of brand PARACLIPSE usa 8.3ft/250 cms diameter,with a C band lnbf EUROSTAR 15* K(bought in Dubai, probably of Chinese production).

Would you guide me towards a section where I can read more aboutDM 500S enigma navigation. Would it be OK to try to upgrade the version of the Enigma on the box. I will stick to ENIGMA as I have read GEMINI might
not be compatible.

According to the Lyngsat site a 2.5m dish is still not big enough for the C-band transmissions in Reunion!

However, before you think about spending lots of money on another dish, be aware that Intelsat 7 & 10 will be replaced in the not too distant future by a newer satellite which may improve coverage in your island nation
