If i sub my own box and buy a card reader etc etc will i be able to watch channels again in the leeds area even though i cant with my eurovox ??

Thanks for your help.........Just off to buy a xbox 360 coz theres crap like home and affray on and ****ty neighbours roll on december (darts start) gutted im missing the sports channels........vermin tossers im gunna put rat catchers down in my garden

Ahh.....but what if you got a brand new samsung box and card both unopened that they dont know you got??

The only brand new samsung ( if they still distribute them ? ) you can do out the box is a SMT-2100 with the help of a jtag, The samsung SMT-2110c needs to be paired with a card , There is no other way with this box to retrieve the box key.

Don't go wasting any money yet as the sh1t storm started in Leeds this week and should be with us all in the near future

Like i say never mess with your sub box, modem etc....
If you got another box lets just say of fleebay or somwhere out of your area then thats fine as long as the talkback is cut

fair play! just fed up of reading posts on the net of people slagging it off, as opposed to being thankful for the services aquired through eurovox. YES, it sucks it's over.....for now anyway but be thankful for the good times haha

out of interest, I know somebody with a vermin box, hacked as it were....so it picks up all the channels. will this stop working once a new card is sent out and inserted? guessing so right?

The box/card combination will only work if they are properly married which would require VM to give the card certain secret key information shared by that one particular box only.

I cant really see VM sending a new card out for a dodgy box and they certainly wont marry a card to a dodgy box. Even if you could marry the card to the dodgy box then it would no longer work with the original subbed box and would still only open channels that the subscription allows so really not too much point doing this.
