It seems to do what it's supposed to, unlike the cheap and nasty Dreambox 500S clones that are around, eg not controlling a motor, power supply issues. Other than that I can't say, as that is all I have used.

Hi Guys
I know this post is a little old, but I am new to the site and have a few questions.
I recently moved to Sweden and am looking for some options for satellite tv. I had a dreambox 500c in the Caribbean and have a basic understanding of that system. I have never used satellite before and am looking for system that I can use to start while I can put my tech prowess to the test and work on a new dreambox. The system mentioned in this post, Is this still a good starting point or has things moved on a bit? Will this work in south of Sweden? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
