Hi guys.

I have a standard ambit 255 modem and i have bought the max232 cable. this will be my first atempt in modding but i am just a bit confused on a few bits, so could anyone just clear some things up for me.

Ok, so i have read fully a few guides now but i was wondering which is the best one to use. Eather the one on this forum i.e the laymans guide or do i use the haynes ?

On the laymans guide it says i need a "live feed cable" is this refering to ethnet cable or am i thick lol?

Also i am a bit unsure about how a aquire mac addresses. I have read in the forum that it is fround upon to ask for them on here so could someone eather point me in the right direction or pm me the details i need.

As i final note any tips or hints that you know of that arnt in the guides i would be greatful if you let me know.

nah m8 a live feed means the white cable coming in to your house
