Sky UK channels missing

hi I am peter rutt and am new to forums. I have come to this somewhat late in life as I am fast approaching 80 and probably a bit green regarding protocol.
I live in southern hampshire and have enjoyed good reception from the astra 28.2E satellite using a sky mini dish and single lnb. I then replaced the single lnb with a wistron universal quad lnb and despite recording high signal strength and
80% signal quality, I am not receiving any of the main bbc or itv channels although I can get sky3 , bbc parliament and a few other minor channels.
please can anybody help.

Hi Peter, the most common cause of problems like this is that dish has moved very slightly. even a degree out will lead to loss of channels.

Try realigning the dish very slightly - a couple mm in one direction should fix it
