Default will there be FTA

I know you guys don't have a crystal ball but any ideas/thoughts if we will still get FTA channels when nagra 3 comes to our areas.I'm mainly interested in BBCHD because of the fact its broadcasted in mpeg2,I'm having problems with pixallation with my ati card and bbchd H264 on freesat (a known problem to ati)plus BBC have really cut the bitrates on there HD on freesat and its not much better than SD now.The only real fix is too buy a nvidia card but I'm hoping to avoid that by still getting it via my usb tuner. Also I'm guessing (as with the sky white cards) there's no cam that will take your legit virgin card to work with nagra3? If the FTA goes at least I will be able to use the usb tuner with freeview so its not all bad

Take the present card out of the box and see what you get. There will be no difference when the new card is issued. If a channel requires the original card now then it will require the new card later.

BBCHD is encrypted, so it almost certainly will continue to be encrypted.

Ah well if thats the case theres really no point using cable for FTA.I have a dish and also a satellite card in the same pc so I can get freesat anyway.I know ati are working on a fix for the bbchd h264 problem so I hope by the time nagra 3 comes here it will be sorted. The usb tuner will be used as a freeview tuner and if its as good at that as it has been a cable tuner I will be quite happy with that.
