Why would you want to get one now when there will be nothing on them in a very short time? I would advise you to save your money and forget about cable and look at satellite, all the "free" cable will soon be ending, due to Virgin changing their encryption to N3, it is all over the cable forums, so save you money mate.

Have to agree with all the others,it would be a waste of money at the moment, you might get a few weeks or perhaps even a few months out of one, depending on the roll out of the cable companies ...even if you see them heavily discounted because of this problem,it might be a waste of money, because if,and its a big if,they do manage to crack it in the future, they will probably bring out completely new boxes, different to any of the present crop ....thats business .....

get the eurovox 6000....

nobody knows how long it will take for the roll out...could be months, could be years...the longer you wait the less use you will get out of it
