Default New User needs help

Just purchased a Eurovox 1100SB. Have wired it up etc and followed all instructions but cannot get any channels. Scanned all frequencies followed by message no channels found, YES. Tried defaaulting to factory settings and rescanning but no luck. Virgin cable box is working OK as is broadband. Obviously I'm dong something wrong. Don't know what else to try. Can anyone help?

what fw are you using?
Is the cable feed active?
Have you tried a power scan?

Does fw mean firmware? Not sure what this is so don't know what I'm using if any.

fw means firmware and yes you will need this to pick up the channels.

Hi from reading your first post i would say you can only get fta channels free to air like a freeview you need to download the firmware for your box and install it. goggle and install bigmac tool bar all firmware for most boxes on there. Also if you use the search box on here you will find info on how to install it hope this helps. Is this the correct box Ex1100usb is this your box as there is a new post about firmware on this site .
