iPhone Jailbrake 3.1.2 - Redsnow

Hi Guys,

I jailbrake iPhones all the time and have researched my recent problem and can not find an answer!

3GS 3.1.2 Firmware 16GB - Only got it 2 days ago...

Basically,

When i try and find the ipsw on the first part of redsnow 0.8

I get an error message saying:-

Unable to recognize specified IPSW

Any ideas guys?

I have downloaded the right firmware and everything, any help would be massivly appreciated!

Don't use redsnow for 3.1.2 use blackra1n , Google Blackra1n ( as i spelt it ) Download the program ,

Install 3.1.2 from itunes.
Run Blackra1n , Click Make it rain ( should take about 30-60 secs )

Once installed your newly jailbroken iphone will reboot and you'll find a black rain drop icon on your spring board , open this and you'll see options to download cydia , rock and Blacksn0w ( Blacksn0w will unlock the baseband for all providers ) .

Its okay mate, i'm going to use 2.1.4 pwnagetool on my mac.

Ra1n is so bad its unbelievable.

When the 3gs reboots or turns off, it goes back into recovery mode and needs ra1ning again.

Its a mess mate.

Cheers though!

PwnageTool should do the job creating my firmware then i'll load it on via iTunes
