Default Connection problems to Max V via com port

Hi Guys,

Newbie and have tried searching to see whether there's any posts related to the problem i've had and unfortunately can't find anything. I cannot connect to my box using a null modem cable. At first I thought it was a config problem on my laptop but having checked (Device Manager), laptop is not the problem - the Eurovox is. Just to make sure I tried connecting using my desktop and same problem except got the error message: waiting for response. How do I configure the Eurovox com port? How do I get it working?

The box was previously working but don't know what my son did to it the other day but all channels have been deleted. When I scan...get nothing back. Hence why was just re-flashing and re-uploading the CDF file, but to no avail.

Have your tried doing a factory reset and scanning on both symbol rates?

not tried the factory reset...will give it a go. With regards to the cable connection problems...think it's more related to this:

A bit of searching and all the answers are there : - )

Will give reset a go first and if no joy then go down the PCI method.
