Or someone could be helpful and give the information that was requested.
Download the fw from the downloads section, Dec 3rd is the latest, put it at the root of a pen drive, do a factory reset on the box (option is in the main menu), once reset switch the box off using the switch on the back, insert the pen drive and then switch the box back on, the fw should update automatically. The fw is now ready to go, perform a channel scan and spend the next few hrs sorting through them and deleting any duplicates etc lol. No-one knows for sure when N3 will be rolled out all around the uk, personally I'm going to make the most of my eurovox while I can and hope that someone cracks N3 in an update. It may take a long time but I choose to be optimistic because despite all the negative comments being posted by some users and unhelpful advice (like send your box back mate!!) no-one knows if and/or when N3 will be cracked. Also, has anyone noticed how the satellite users have emerged from the woodwork lately into the cable forums like they're trying to smugly rub in that we will no longer have access to cable? lol, it was nice while it lasted and I have no complaints, better than having paid for sky for the last 4/5 years huh? |

Yeah some of the satellite users/mods are around more - especially me coz it would be like the bloody wild west in here without some hard moderating. Do you REALLY want 30 threads a day all saying "Im in Yorkshire and Ive lost me free telly how do I get it back??" Because thats what was starting to happen in the last few days.. I love your optimism about N3 being cracked - just remember the Spanish & Portuguese satellite users have been wishing the same for well over 2 years now, and its held up so far against their most determined attacks. Maybe it will fall at some point but no point getting folks hopes up about it happening anytime soon. And so what if we have a bit of a dig at any inept forum numpties who cant be bothered to do a bit of basic reading - all the info they need is on the forum, but no its far too much work to sit down and read around for 10 minutes..
