Default which motor

i am currently using a fixed 80cm dish with monoblock.i have a tm7755 receiver and want to install a motor to receive more sats ,i have a single titanium lnb to replace monoblock with but i would like to know what motor to get and it will have to be mounted on a scaffold pole because of the landlord....thanks for all the help so far u guys r great.....

I use the Technomate TM-2100 A Diseqc 1.2 Motor myself with a 80CM dish on a scaffolding pole in the rear garden.

Works well.



Cost ya about £50.00

have tried to set this motor up now for last week but still having problems,getting 50-60 on thor, turn east and get 80 on hotbird only getting 40 quality on astra 19 now, did have 90 yesterday,where i live latis 50.44 so followed manual and elev angle is 40, dish bracket angle is 22.7 but on dish 1side is 80 other is 85, wot side do i use or what am i doing wrong.in need of help as east is clear from obstructions but west isnt &want cabo so have to get east right before cutting trees down to west.motor is on 1 degwest when on thorand pole straight,,please,please help cheers...

have set motor up today so i can receive everything i want except 30west this lands right in middle of a tree, so what do i need to get to use a fixed dish for 30west and allow motor to work fine......cheers

Could you re-site the dish to miss the tree? that would be the easiest option.

no there is a row of trees if i posistion dish to get 30 west would not be able to get anything east is it possible to have a fixed dish and use a motorised dish with my tm7755 box .....cheers 4 all the help....

You would probably need a manual switch to switch between the 2 dishes, I'm pretty sure you can't use a diseq switch and a usals/diseq motor together.
