Hi all, I'm new here.
Ok, I have a PACE 4001 box, I know the IRD, don't know the BK yet. I've got the original card from the box, but it is a DNASP007 Rev718 which I have been told is impossible to work with. No problem, so I'm going to have to get a FunCard. So as for finding the BK, should I use an LedSIMM? Also my pin is ****, do I need to unlock it? The box is from a house only a few doors down and it is all set up for this area so I won't need to fiddle with that part. Apart from that, I've cut the talkback, so am I right in thinking that all I need is the IRD, BK, Funcard&programmer, and latest codes(bigmaq) and I'm good to go? Regards, Sammy D. edit: also sorry, if I convert the IRD from the eng menu to hexidecimal it is different to the one written on the scart sticker. Which one is correct? |

right m8 first off get the bk off the box using led simm from tmc i have 1 they are great then once you have your details make your card up while you have the top off the box if you are in pure area then pull the red jumper off near the batery for 1 min then put jumper back on that will reset your net id and your pin then you will have to leave for upto 30 mins turned on for your netid to set when this happens and you get your channels you will want to boot the box into em and set your pin m8

Ok, thanks guys.
Instead of the LED SIMM I've found that I can use a voltmeter to read the BK. There appears to be a guide floating around under the name of 4001vm.rar but I just can't find it! Any clues? Cheers again. Sammy D. |

Thanks dude, I got that one from the downloads page but that's for the 2000.
There used to be one for the 4001 but I just can't find it. As I look through the 2000 guide though I can see similar components from inside my 4001 but it's not all the same. Hmmm. edit: For Example... This is the 2000; img187.imageshack.us/img187/5060/2000o.jpg but my 4001 looks like this; img402.imageshack.us/img402/6854/4001a.jpg Do you think that the pin numbers will all be the same?
