Hi Kid Warrior.

I dont mind you calling me a dummie, because when it comes to this issue I admit I am. I would really appriciate if you can advise step by step what I need to do to chip my box.

I have tried searching for "Cable for Dummies" in the forums but cant find it. Am I searching in the correct place? Anyone out there your help will be much appriciated.

i think this might solve your problem. Turn your box off by taking the wire out from behind press and hold the down arrow key and then plug in the power cable. DO NOT LET GO OFF THE KEY YET keep holding it until the box doesnt boot up.

try this and see if it works
