Default mdapifilter and mediaportal

can any1 help ive upgraded my os from win xp to win 7 ..i had mediaportal working fine under win xp..but now i cant get mediaportal to work under win 7 x32.
i am not sure if the mdapifilter has registered due to i have no tray icon can any1 help with this .
and what version of mp is best to run tried 1.0.2

Did you download the latest release, it does work with W7 x86 and finally x64. You need to run the utility vista tray icon to see what vplug is doing.

MP does not work so well with W7 yet another few weeks.

does the FTA work ?. This is independant of MDAPI and VPLUG, ie MP should show FTA without any addons.
