Default V+ Help with PIN

Hi all

Having read the V+ application, i have all channels and HD working.
But the PIN im having problems with. In the text of the application it says about the AT24C512 chip, to remove and re-programm with all FF, this would then be able to insert NetID and frequency.
Im in t.w Area, and the box has correct NetID ect, as all channels are working.

I prgrammed the Fun with NetID 2.7 correctly, and as per instructions to the box.

But i still cannot get a new pin, ive used up two lives of inserting the pin wrong and have just one left.

Im waiting on Atmega cards to be delivered, can someone help please, what im doing wrong, or does the AT24C512 have to be removed?

Thanks

Rich

Iv'e had 3 like that i managed to guess, it locks after 3 goes but opens again after a while.
you can programme it on the chip or if its blank it will be 0000 .

i didnt remove the chip, i soldered 8 leads out to the programmer, ill then flash with all FF's as per instructions.

@Reddiesel - how do you program the PIN on the chip without blanking it?

You cant do it in situ you have to remove it and solder 5 leads, you need the programmer from fleet micro, you can replace with a new blank one and use an atmega card
There is a tut in V-apps and V+ net id dump in downloads, you just edit it for your area with pin.
As far as i know you cant reset just the pin without net id as well.
