I just have one question, just how little do you think kudulski are?? I'm no financial expert but these figures simply don't show them as being a small company. Maybe Just Maybe there a much bigger fish than the cable box providers are.

They've pretty much given up on the idea of hacking this card now. They know perfectly well that its going to take more money than they can throw at it, especially now that all the dealers are drooling at the thought of selling CS services for a monthly subscription !

NDS has in the past been accused of breaking other companies' satellite encryption schemes

Ironically the NDS Group have themselves been accused (in several lawsuits) by Canal+ and Echostar (now DishNetwork) of hacking the Nagra encryption and releasing the information on the internet.

I also herd that one of the big cable box makers is going into making a server box like the protek,but maybe thats only sat.

Why spend money on hacking a card when it's no financial benefit to them. Just turn your attention satellite and get people to buy a new box.

Sorry but that was N2, not N3. You have to realise that NDS put up the money for the hacker, it was alleged, but they got their fingers burnt and I don't think they will be as quick to do it again. The connection with Sly is that Sly own or part own NDS, which is an Israeli company.

Sorry mate was just putting things in the right context, it was my way of letting people see what Murdock is capable of and how he will do anything to mess up his competitors. I did understand that you were not serious.
