Default Putting the eurovox to good use ?

Now that N3 has fooked it up for us in Leeds, I have now subscribed fully BUT was hoping I still may be able to get a little one over Mr B.

Just before N3 was rolled I invested in another STB (only been out of box once !!!) and I was going to coax into the bedrooms.

Now that i'm fully subscribed would I be able to use the Eurovox STB's to receive all channels ?? If I still coaxed to the bedrooms ? That way I wouldn't have to pay for multi room or extra boxes ?

If not i'll just use them as book ends !!!!

Cheers in advance

Not quite door stopers - they will still give you the free channels (BBC ITV C4 C5 and a couple of other minor ones according to various reports.

No pay channels on them though.

Doesnt look like it.

Could one of our Leeds members post the FULL list of whats still available on a bog standard EV?

That would give our members in other areas an idea of whats going to be available to them once they get Nagra3'd

I was banking on at least the freeview channels! Ah well, I suppose my openmedia works as a freeview receiver as long as the dish faces the right way

Just a follow up, put the FTA firmware on, re-scanned, you can get itv2 on TV1 - 723 channel 259.

Doesn't open up anymore channels though, may have to try my areial instead of the cable.

No mate, just the basic 1 to 5

They went in stages, 1st the premium, box office, sports and movies then a about 10 or so days later everything went.

Like I say, i'm fully subscribed now, i've had my monies worth a hundred times over ! Just thought I could use the boxes as multi room so to speak.
