can the max be wired to a surround sound system ? if so which connections do i use , we are trying to wire one up but not having any success , we have managed to connect a blu ray to the surround but are now struggling with the max . thanks

I have mine connected, what you need is a pure av audio lead that goes from surround system straight to tv, connect your max as usual to tv and it will pick it up. I just flick through the source on surround sound system and it will pick it up.
Lead is £19.99 in currys or cheaper on ebay |
