Hi people i seem to be interested in the Azbox Premium HD box that is for sale in the for sale section. Im new to satellites so not too sure what this box is like. Upon searching ive seen conflicting comments some people say its an amazing box others dont agree. At the moment im more of cable person and i seen something about cable tuner does this support cable aswel as sat and can it be used at the same time? In the future i may take up card sharing and upgrade to a motorised system to receive more channels will this be possible with this box??
Many Thanks |

this is what the fuss is about when it came out most people me included thought it was a twin or dual tuner box it turns out that it is a combi box you can use only one tuner at a time i think cs is possible but i would read a lot more about the box before you decide |

The people who have got them working say they are incredible. Unfortunatley that's relatively few because the software is still beta and buggy.
If the software gets sorted the AzBox will be amazing, for the time being they are very good, but don't expect it to work perfectly all the time.

I would have thought that they would have sorted all their problems by now. They were touted to be going to be a real threat to all dreamboxes, but the software has not been developed very much, that is the reason they are not very stable.

theres + and - with both boxes i can put up with the minor problems for the extra stuff you get with the azbox that you dont with a dreambox i like my feeds so 4.2.2 is a must for me

Very true Martin, there is no blind scan with the DMM boxes and you seem to like the feeds. I used to love the feeds, some great ones of reporters waiting to go live and picking their noses and stuff like that. My TM box has a blind scan but I never get the time to use it to it's full potential.
Regards Wez
