could be a problem with the coax running to the garden room, is it good quality ?

Have you buried this cable and if so was it the proper external drop cable ? usually black twin cable that has telephone wire attached to it as well, it also has a sticky silicone like resin that sticks to your fingers when you strip back the pvc to fit connectors.

I thought you had eliminated this by trying it straight from the input to the problem point bypassing any splitters. still it could be a dodgy f-connector somewhere so its worth changing them.

as stated above-it IS a connection problem you've got. It drove me mad for a couple of days.somewhere along ur cable you've got a bit of a dodgy connection,could even be a bit of a break in the cable.all these splitters etc,tend to make the signal weaker i think. took me ages to find this out.I got a better picture with 1 box plugging into the "loop" instead of the normal rf in connector.must have knackered it pluggin and unpluggin all the time

its a connection problem definitely.i had it as well with espn and sly sports 2 & 3. could be ur coax cable-maybe a break in it or somethin-but defo a connection prob
