So you've done family and friends?

What about Joe Bloggs who posts on here asking for help? Have you helped them?

And as I've said, I'm not a coder, they are the real and only reason the fix's are found and made, but I do sort of understand how it works, I just need to learn a new language.

You just can't help yourself can you ? IF you're going to take the **** out of people at least try and spell correctly !

You see that N3 crap link you posted was a prime example, and I bet there are thousands more.

You actually replied with the perfect answer backed up with another right behind you.
Then the insults start and your like a pack of wolves.

Ending with "Thread closed - no point allowing our clueless friend the satisfaction of baiting people" from a Mod !!! The thread should have been closed after the 2nd post, or just ignored after the 2nd post ALL the info was in those 2 posts. End of

In a couple of months all the guides and files will be history, everyone will be expecting someone to fix it, but dont hold your breath, it will need a lot of money and technology, its not going to be a quick fix in someones shed.
it may never become public, this has all been said before in other threads and il probably get yawned at now.
All our knowledge is now history, never mind C/S will be the next thing.
Any newbies that have been scared off by this thread can PM me if they cant find an answer and are worried to post.

I must however emphasise again and again that there are some cracking senior members on this site without whom I would not have been able to do 10 rounds with Mr. Branson over the last lot of years.
But there are those rouge elements that make it unpleasant for others within the site and as senior members it is my view that you should seek to eliminate that not excuse it because your own posts are helpful.
So loads of posts from senior members on this thread, lets hear from junior members , this post is for your voice to be heard and hopefully make things better for those who come behind you in the future.

You see this..... 'website' is in danger of losing its tag a 'forum'. Its fast becoming a social network for a click of mates who are all on the same level of knowledge around cable etc. And when one pounces they're all quick to jump in. Then you get mods added to that and its game over, they have the power and certainly know how to use it.

Yes there are loads and loads of helpful mods, senior members and even the odd newbie that if it wasn't for them, i'd have been paying full subs for the past 2 yrs, when the keys started rolling. But the click is getting bigger and stronger and like i say this 'forum' will be a thing of the past.

People can easily leave a thread they don't know the answer to, yet they cannot leave a thread in which they don't like the question ??? Strange is that eh ?

Moved to feedback.

In the meantime, as mentioned previously, there are usually numerous threads about the same topic - of course it's going to be annoying for existing members when people join up simply to ask the same questions over and over and over again.

Even still, answers are usually provided.

In the meantime, it seems we have just one or two members who think it is their god-given right to have everything handed on a silver platter for them.

I'm sorry - no community works like that.

And if you are still having problems with your cable service after visiting this site, then you are always welcome to contact Virgin Media to see if they can correct the issue directly for you.

Thread closed.
