Default Which Cam and card is the best

Can you please let me know which Cam and programmer are the best for my sat. I have a 1m motorised dish with a Technomate 6800HD Super receiver. I am looking to get a cam and programmer but people have been telling me to get a dragon cam? Is this good? Also how would i be able to program this?

The dragon has been pretty much dead for a while now as far as new patches are concerned. And it won't get you any more than the technomate patches do. My advice is to wait and see what the new Diablo 2 will open when patches are released.

If you patch you box with the latest patch and upload the latest keys your box will clear most of what is clear now, and most of that is on Thor 1W. That is it, unless you buy a card for some provider and then you will need the correct CAM to use it in. There is little open now and digiTV will soon be going to N3, so it will be dead also. The Diablo CAM was opening the Nordic channels on Thor, but not sure if it is still working or not.

Very valuable advice. I would just add that if you have to buy anything wait for the Diablo2 CAM it is expected to be out with files available anytime time. You would however require CAS3+ programmer to programme the Diablo Cam. YOu might also consider buying G*mma card or some extra channels (N*va etc). The CAS3+ programmer is capable of programming the card as well. But best would be to wait for a few more days for the Diablo2.

Whats the best programmer to program a gamma card. I have heard about the cas3+ or a dynamite. I want it for mainly the gamma but to other cams and cards too.

Then go for the Cas 3+, as this can program both cams, and cards.

If I were you I would go for the Duo Labs Cas 3, I have one and a cas 2 also. I am not perfectly sure, but I have a feeling that the Dynamite is only for doing cards.

Dynamite plus can only do cards, but it can program at various speeds and apparntly has unlooping facilities. I have one and it works fine for gamma card. It programs gam files and besttt files as it uses both usb and serial conections at the same time.
